Roald Dahl Day
Each year, Roald Dahl Day is celebrated all around the world on the 13th September to celebrate the fabulous author who has brought so many exciting and incredible characters to our imaginations.
Theme for this year was: The Gloriumptiuos World of Roald Dahl. Students were given a choice to create their own dictionary of Roald Dahl’s Vocabulary which not only helped them to enhance their vocabulary skills but gave wings to their imagination. Others designed a character flip book exploring Roald Dahl characters as the famous writer provides the perfect opportunity to explore characterization. Some pupils read facts about Dahl which they had researched themselves.
The day reiterated the many ‘life lessons’ that Dahl’s books contain which are still very much relevant today.

The English week.
It was a delight to see our Year 6,while celebrating Englsih Week, spread a powerful message on Climate and Sustainability applying their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Our young learners had an opportunity to think out of the box and have a great learning experience, wherein they along with parents participated in numerous engrossing activities like panel discussion, writing stories on how they can bring a change in the community to beat plastic pollution, board game on climate change and quizzes. Students expressed their ideas and thoughts on Climate Change using language arts leaving the parents mesmerized by their creative and critical thinking skills .
